What Made English Premier League 2016/2017 Season Breathtaking

Why EPL 2016/2017 Was Breathtaking
The race of 365 days in any realm cometh with lots of drama - joyful moments, heartbreaking moments, and other ups and downs you can ever think of. *sigh* English Premier League (EPL) from the onset have been filled with lots of excitement compared to other leagues in the World. This season was never an exception.

Sometimes last year (August 13th, 2016), the race to become Premier League Champion began with a lot of transformation to every team - in terms of coaching crew, players profile which costs management huge sum of dollars. Most teams actually recruited established manpower from the best leagues in the World for the sake of this prestigious title "English Premier League".

For the first time in the history of English Premier League, top teams were flooded with award/title winning  coaches - Pep Guardiola of the Invincible Barcelona (now manages Manchester City), Jose Mourinho the self-proclaimed "Special One" (now manages Manchester United), Jurgen Klopp the Dortmund Magician (now manages Liverpool), Antonio Conte the Beast (now manages Chelsea), Arsene Wenger the Young Generation Coach, Pochetino the Rising Coach with Kane at all times, Claudio Ranieri the Leicester One time Magician. The list is just endless.
Also, the player profile in the league is nothing compared to any other leagues in the World. To mention but a few; Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba of Manchester United, Jesus of Manchester City, Marcos Alonso, N'golo Kante of Chelsea, Xhaka, Mustafi and Holding of Arsenal, and lots more besides the household names of English football - Wayne Rooney, Mesut Ozil, Harry Kane, Eden Hazard, Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Yaya Toure, Romelu Lukaku, Phillippe Coutinho, Mane...

No matter the player profile and coaching crew of all teams, the race will be won by one team. In other words, the trophy remains worthy to whosoever that comes out with the highest point in the breathtaking 38 matches played.

Throughout the league matches, several unexpected defeats were recorded by top teams under the management of renowned coaches listed above. Some of these occurred based on wrong tactics implemented by renowned coaches in the World. Someone like Jose Mourinho suffered more blows in the hands of other teams because he was depending on the strategy he used during the days of tsar tsar.

This season EPL was breathtaking because the intensity of the games was getting too much for young chaps to survive under. For the first time in decades, the Arsenal young chaps are out of UEFA Champions League competition. This is justifying how intense the game is, leaving the boys out while the men lead.

In short, "survival of the fittest" is the order of the day in EPL football. Congratulations to EPL 2016/2017 Champions - Chelsea Football Club under the management of Antonio Conte.

Next season promises to be more exciting and more breathtaking - you don't have to bet that with me.
