How Communication is Indeed A Life in Itself


Communication; Life in itself
Living does not make any sense when people are not privileged to interact with themselves on a day to day basis in any of their endeavours; social, economical, political, cultural and so on. The platform of such interaction differs from place to place and time to time respectively. In other words, life will be tasking and unrealistic if communication is taken out of it.

Communication from any point of view connotes the flow of information from one person to another through any medium available to the sender and the receiver. Its effectiveness, therefore, ensures the message passed from the sender is digested and interpreted appropriately by the receiver.

Mediums of communication from the earliest time were through looks, gestures, speeches, signs. Globalisation has therefore improved the channel of communication in developing and developed nations of the world vis; television, radio, telephone, internet e.t.c Aside, the face-to-face interaction within the basic social structure (polity, family, economy, religion, education) of any human society. There is an underline importance of communication to the sustenance and continuity of human society respectively.

What makes communication a life in itself is inherent in all human daily activities. Transportation wise, communication tend to exist between drivers through signs and symbols on the road they ply on or else there will chaos in the process. On another ground, communication brought about the globalised village we have today i.e. global culture – economy, government, technology and so on.

Without communication, what do we expect of this world? or say how can we relate freely across nations? Obviously, it's going to be a difficult and restricted world to live in. In a nutshell, communication through the aid of globalisation had made life easy, convenient and continuous regardless of the distance between the sender and the receiver.
