Nigeria Today; Who Owns the Blame?
Basically, the downturn of any scenario in life brings within itself and element of blame channeled to either an individual or a group. On the other end, the sweetness of any game in life goes on and on without a moment of regret irrespective of the individual/group mistakes in the path to stardom.
This piece addresses the issue of
apportioning blames for the current downturn in the state of Nigerian economy.
It is not surprising that year 2016 experiences under the terrain of “Change”
government leaves the general masses with so much course to worry. The hardship
of this time will forever linger in the heart of the general masses because
they are feeling the heat more than necessary. For proper representation of
what poverty is, only the poor can give it a perfect description.
However, any
happening/event/occurrence within a particular administration be it positive or
negative will forever be recorded or reminisced alongside the time. The
question put forward to all living Nigerians is; Who/What is the cause of the
downturn? Can we say categorically it’s the past administration? Can we accord
the present situation to the angers of our forefathers/ancestors? Can we say
globalization is behind this?
If
you care to understand my plight on this topic, I refer you to earlier posts on
this blog titled “WEATHER FOR CHANGE” and “GIST GOVERNMENT”.
Besides, appropriating the blame is
not what really matter for now, but a way out of this
messy/grinding/breathtaking situation is more than a necessity. All hopes high,
the change mantra will bring positive returns to the general masses on/before
the end of the tenure.
Thanks for your attention.
